"Something is coming from far far away,
a giant airship, bright blue and yellow
steered by a creature with thin bony hands.
And if you listen carefully you ca hear voices;
crackly, hushed and whispering…
…EAT ME… "
In June 2015 A Moment’s Peace, in co-production with Platform, launched our latest show with a tour of primary schools and venues around Scotland.
Fast paced and full of surprises Eat Me is an immersive theatrical thriller for 7-11 year olds and their families, tackling the issues of food, health and systems of consumption throughout the playful and entertaining story of Eric and his friend Glob. But with the Feeders lurking around every corner, its even a little scary too!
Show Trailer coming soon
The show is supported by a workshop offering audiences another opportunity to dig a little deeper into the issues explored by Eric’s adventure. It raises young people’s awareness about food advertising and food production, with a specific focus on how young audiences are targeted by the food industry. The workshop is interactive and inquisitive, and is supported by a Curriculum for Excellence Resource Pack full of practical and accessible workshop ideas.

"It was great being immersed in the play and the children really enjoyed seeing it from this viewpoint. I was really impressed with the discussions the children had afterwards and would definitely be interested in seeing future productions from A Moment’s Peace."
