Our groups

Running alongside our projects we have two groups who we regularly make high-quality performance work with. The groups provide safe, inclusive spaces for individuals often structurally excluded from the wider cultural landscape - and are facilitated with care, creativity and joy. Being a part of these groups is the best path into taking part in our wider creative programme, and we are always open to new people joining these groups.

Take a look below and if you would like to get involved please email us.

  • Transparent Texture

A partnership project with Küche, this is a mixed art form workshop space exploring creativity with and showcasing the skills of individuals navigating the immigration system.

The group meets one Monday per month 10.30am-2.30pm at Tramway in Glasgow's Southside. We offer interpreters, childcare, lunch and travel expenses.

We also host Sunday afternoon public events where members of the group, and other interested artists share their work with a public audience.

Currently - due to the restrictions of COVID-19 - the group is engaging digitally.

We are always open to new members.

    Woman's Creative Company

This is our most longstanding project focused on providing invigorating creative experiences for women who may or may not consider themselves 'theatre people'.

Traditionally we have met on a Wednesday evening 5.30-8.30pm at the Renfield Centre in Glasgow's City Centre.

When we are working on a specific project we usually meet weekly, and over the years the group have produced several high profile pieces of work. More recently we have been meeting on a more ad hoc basis, and currently - due to the restrictions of COVID-19 - the group is engaging digitally.

We are always open to new members.
